Two men and a woman caught cooking meth under a bridge across the Intracoastal Waterway early Friday morning were arrested, according to the Atlantic Beach Police Department.
Around 3 a.m., officers were doing a routine patrol under the the bridge on Atlantic Boulevard when they saw the suspects by a vehicle.
Police said Russell Harding, 28, Dustin Love, 26, and Carrie White, 34, were cooking meth outside a car.
"They were actively in the process," said Cmdr. Tiffany Layson, of the Atlantic Beach Police Department. "I believe they were just in the process of adding the chemicals."
Atlantic Beach police, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office and Jacksonville Fire-Rescue were all at the scene, along with a narcotics team and JSO's bomb squad.
Police said Harding, Love and White (booking photos, right) are not from Atlantic Beach. No one was hurt. The situation was not dangerous to people in the area, and police said the bomb squad expected to have the scene cleared later in the morning.
The bridge remained open and there were no traffic delays in the area.
