3 The Christmas dreams of hundreds of local children came true today on the Westside, where the Police Athletic League held its 7th annual Christmas toy giveaway. Families who have been hit this year by tragedy, loss, financial hardship received 200 dollars worth of merchandise from Wal Mart. Channel 4's Tarik Minor spoke to one family whose home was destroyed by fire the day before Thanksgiving. The children were given 100 dollars for toys and 100 dollars for clothes.
