A 70-year-old woman died in a crash on the Northside on Wednesday morning that was likely the result of a medical emergency, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Police said Albert Culbert was driving on Myrtle Avenue at West 10th Street about 9 a.m. and was stopped at a stop sign when her car rolled through the intersection, jumped a curb and struck a tree.
The Culbert was taken to a hospital, where she died of an apparent medical emergency.
Police said her car was not damaged.
