Police: Man Selling Pot Blames Bad Economy

Officers Find Guns, 2 Pounds Of Marijuana In Man's Apartment

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Jacksonville police said a man selling pot out of his Southside home told them the bad economy is the reason why he's dealing drugs.

Police said they searched Josue Valentine's apartment Tuesday night after finding him and another man parked in a car in the middle of San Pablo Road.

Officers said they found several guns inside the home as well as more than 2 pounds of marijuana.

Police said Valentine told them he'd been selling the drugs, saying, "The economy is bad, you got to do what you got to do."
