JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Police are looking for a man who they said shot another man in an apparent robbery at a Northwest Jacksonville home on Wednesday afternoon.

Jacksonville police said the victim opened the door of his home on Tuskegee Road about 2 p.m., and he and the shooter got into an altercation when he was shot.

Police said the victim was shot once in the hip and was taken to a hospital. His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

Investigators said it's possible the victim doesn't know the shooter. They said they don't know a motive for the robber.
