Police: Woman shot while walking on road ruled homicide

Investigators in Lake City are calling the death of a woman shot and killed Saturday while walking down a road a homicide.

Police said an officer on patrol heard the gunshot that killed Misty Harper.

Harper was shot while walking on Marion Avenue. She died at a hospital.

Investigators said they have strong leads, and a $1,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest in the case.
