Justin Bieber was reportedly the target of a murder plot hatched by a convicted killer behind bars in New Mexico.
Investigators say they had every detail planned, down to the ties they were going to use to strangle the pop star and three other people.
According to authorities the inmate convinced a man and his nephew to carry out his plans.
Police say Dana Martin, a convicted killer serving two life sentences for raping and killing a 15-year-old girl, is obsessed with Bieber and even has a tattoo of the star on his leg.
Investigators say Martin actually turned on the would-be murderers and and foiled the plot he cooked up.
