JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Details from a Washington Post investigation uncovered nearly 50 members of congress who helped direct millions of dollars from public projects to private interests.

On the top of that list was U.S. Rep. Corrine Brown, D-Fla.

The Post released its investigation Wednesday.

It linked Brown to more than $20 million paid to clients of a lobbying firm where her daughter works. This occurred between 2005 and 2010.

The investigation also showed Brown was the sole sponsor of nearly $2 million in earmarks sent to the Community Rehabilitation Center while her daughter was a lobbyist on its behalf.

The congresswoman did not comment Wednesday about the results of the investigation.
