According to Cesar Millan, star of Dog Whisperer dogs instincts are more sensitive than humans.

"Dogs can read a person's energy. They know when energy is compatible and when it's not," said Millan.

In a recent experiment conducted by Millan heart rate monitors measuring physiological reactions were hooked up to both humans and dogs. When the animals and humans were introduced dogs reacted sooner, sometimes over fifty yards away. Millan said one of the reasons humans take longer to determine chemistry is because humans don't go by instinct, instead they rely on emotions.

Training director at Canine Obedience Club Local, Colleen Waylon, said she thinks its possible for dogs to help people find the perfect mate.

"They pick up on your scent, your energy and your emotion all within ten seconds of greeting you," said Waylon.

One suggestion on how your pooch can be your best matchmaker, take them for a walk. Taking your dog for a walk will increase your chances of meeting someone, especially another dog lover.
