Police in Jacksonville are looking for a man they said robbed a woman at gunpoint Monday night, three days before someone returned the victim's wallet to her home.
Police were called to the 1100 block of 10th Avenue Street West near the Eastside just before 9 p.m. Monday. Investigators said the man approached the woman, pointed a silver or gray handgun at her, and stated, "Give me what you got."
The victim gave the man her phone and purse before the man fled the area.
The robber was described as a light-skinned black man between 22 and 25 years old, about 180 to 190 pounds, with a low, deep voice. He was wearing a black T-shirt, long black shorts, and a black mask, and was seen riding a red mountain bike.
On Thursday, a man was seen in surveillance video at the victim's home and appeared to be returning her wallet to her yard, where it was found a short while later.
Police said it's unclear if the person in the video is the robber, but investigators are interested in identifying and speaking to him.
Anyone with any information about the identity of the robber or the man on the bike in the video is asked to call the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at 904-630-0500 or Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
