Just TWO days into the new school year ..and some 500 students in Starke are getting time OFF from school. Results of an air quality study of Starke elementary were JUST released... and showed mold in the building. 'has it been around a long time?' that's first i've heard of it. we talked with Dr. Danny Pulido of Memorial Health about the dangers of mold.He says this can be dangerous to continually breathe day after day.13:52 - it can trigger hypersensitivity, respiratory attacks such as asthma. So that's where the concern is. If students have asthma ... they would be at high risk if exposed to it in air.
