This tragedy is the latest in a string of fatal hit and runs in St. Johns County. Chris Miller/ St.Augustine P.D. 13:13:48-:58) "So he looks around, he doesn't see any damage to his vehicle, he though he hadjust ran over the pole, he saw that there was law enforcement and fire on the scene and ah he just basically left."So the search is on for the person who hit the pole."We do have some pieces fromwhat we believeto be that sedan that we were able to locate or actually identify what type of vehicle that may have been."After some googling serial numbers, police say they are now looking ..a 2006 to 2008 Silver Mazda with serious front end damage.. if you know anything about this, St. Augustine police want to hearfrom you right away.S 3 They are on the street right now looking for that car.The trail gets cold quickly, in fact..This is the 4th deadly hit and run in St.Johns county in just the last 4 months.
