JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

The U.S. men's national soccer team hasn't played in Jacksonville for more than a decade, but they will Saturday night. And soccer fans were already gearing up Friday for the match at EverBank Field.

Fans from Scotland, the U.S.'s opponent, are in town, and it's hard to miss them -- and their kilts.

"Get yourself down there. Tickets are cheap enough. It's going to be a decent party bars here," Mark Poe said.

The Scottish visitors were already flocking together to get amped for the game.

"Pasty expression you see, people who haven't seen too much sun, that's how we know each other," Tom Williamson said.

"They're expecting about 5,000 Scotland fans, so we're real excited about it," John Nicolson said. "Looking forward to it and meeting the people of Jacksonville and having one big party this weekend."

"It's nothing to do with the football team, I'll tell you that," Williamson said.

"Scots always make friends wherever they go, and obviously we're in all this stuff, kilts, and we're always going to make a friend, you know what I mean," Poe said.

"We expect big things this weekend. There's so much going on," said Paul Glaser, general manager of Fionn MacCool's.

Local businesses say their ready for the incoming crowds.

"The Scots have been wonderful. They were here yesterday," Glaser said. "Last night it was funny. A gentleman just pulled out bagpipes and just started playing."

You may think Fionn MacCool's is especially stocked up with European beer for the Scots. Glaser said you'll be surprised at what they order.

"The Scots like the American beer when they're over here," Glaser said. "They like to drink the culture."

Businesses downtown are expecting a boom in sales and are looking forward to having the fun-loving Scots in town.

In the meantime, what many people want to know is, what's underneath the kilts.

"For me today it's nothing. It's feeling very warm at the moment," Poe said.

If you want to join the fun this weekend, it's not too late. Tickets are still available on Ticketmaster. Prices range from about $20 to $300.
