Four seafood stores have been broken into in the past five weeks, but it's not money that's missing; it's the seafood.

Rebar Hagi works at King Crab Shack on North Main Street. The family run business was the first store that was robbed.

"We work hard for the family. We come over here early in the morning and stay late, untill 9 p.m.," Hagi said.

The seafood swindler busted out a side window and headed for the freezer. The owner of Kng Crab Shack said the seafood bandits made off with two crates full of crabs. He says he's out more than $500.

King Crab House, owned by the same man, was also hit. The thief broke in through the roof.

The burglar left behind $2,000 in damage and left with $500 worth of crab and shrimp.

A very similar crime happened just a few blocks North. Someone broke into Ferrell's Seafood and stole almost 300 pounds of shrimp.

R&R Crab House off North Pearl Street was hit, too. Only there was no seafood to get, but the crook did take off with some cash.
