Jacksonville police have asked for the public's help finding a man who robbed a bank near Regency.

The robbery took place Tuesday afternoon at the First Guaranty Bank in the 9000 block of Hutchinson Park Drive.

Police said the thief had a note and then pulled a gun on a teller.

According to police, the man grabbed some cash and ran to a nearby parking lot.

Police said the robber dropped some of the money as he fled, but they said most of it has been recovered.

Wednesday afternoon, investigators released a surveillance photo of the robber.
