Second victim in Regency-area double shooting dies

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

A man was killed and a woman shot in the same Regency-area double shooting Tuesday afternoon died overnight.

Police were called to the double shooting in the 10200 block of Spivey Terrace just before 4:30 p.m.

The woman was flown to Shands Jacksonville Medical Center. Police announced early  Wednesday that she died. The names of the victims have not been released.

It's unclear what led to the shooting or if the shooter was on the loose, but police said the incident was being investigated as a double killing.
