Senator Marco Rubio was in Orange Park on Monday night, signing copies of his new autobiography, "An American Son."
Rubio has already made several stops across Florida. The tour will also take Rubio through Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia.
The Senator said his book tour is going well, and that he wanted to write a tribute to the American Dream and believes the best way to do that was through the story of his parents.
While in Orange Park, Rubio commented about Governor Rick Scott's decision to opt out of expanded Medicaid.
"Well, I think he's making the best decision in the best interest for the state in terms of spending money on something that the state may not be able to afford without raising taxes or taking it away from other programs like education or transportation," said Rubio. "States are put in a difficult position by what the Obama Administration has done."
