Coral Springs police have arrested a man for stabbing his mother to death late Saturday night.

Police arrested Dee Jony Etienne, 30. He will be charged with first degree murder.

Police say they found the body of Joceleine Pericles, 53, in the front yard of a home along 3700 block of North Riverside Drive, just  north of Sample Road. Her son had left the scene when police arrived.

Police set up a perimeter to locate the Etienne. He was found hiding behind a nearby gas station.

Police say the stabbing is the result of a domestic dispute. Etienne is expected to make his first court appearance Sunday morning.
