ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -

A St. Augustine woman is charged with credit card fraud after detectives said she tried to buy an iPad with someone else's account information.

Desiree Mildner's address matched the mailing address on an order placed on the Apple Store's website in July, police said. The owner of the banking information used was notified and called police.

Detectives went to Mildner's house and said she denied any involvement and felony charges were filed against her.

Investigators did not say how Mildner got the victim's credit card information. Police said these types of crimes are on the rise and residents should use caution when using a bank or credit card. Always keep your receipts and check your monthly statements.
