The body detectives believe to be that of a missing 47-year-old St. Johns County woman was found in a wooded area early Tuesday.

Investigators said foul play is not suspected in the death of Susan Norris, who hadn't been seen since Thursday.

Deputies found Norris' body in a wooded area off County Road 208.

Norris' family initially notified the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office after concerns that she was despondent and she had not been seen.

Deputies said witnesses found the vehicle Norris was last seen in and notified the Sheriff's Office on Tuesday morning. When deputies responded to where the vehicle was, they searched the area and found the body, investigators said.

The cause of death and positive identification will be determined through an autopsy, according to the Sheriff's Office.
