Suspect Named In Donut Shop Stabbing

Palatka police said they need help tracking down 33-year-old Leonard Grice Jr., who they called a violent criminal.
The robbery occurred at the Dunkin Donuts at 14th and Reid streets in May of last year. During the robbery, the victim, 49-year-old John Perry, was stabbed.
Investigators said evidence at the scene led them to Grice.
Police said they believe Grice is on the run and hiding out in Virginia.
Detective Mike Lassiter obtained a warrant on July 1 for the arrest of Grice.
Grice is being charged with attempted first-degree murder and armed robbery.
Detectives in Palatka are working with investigators in Virginia. Anyone with information that could help locate Grice is asked to contact police.
