A 20-year-old Starke man was arrested Friday morning in connection with a robbery at a Kangaroo store.
Jeremiah Rosier is also suspected in several recent property crimes, Starke police said.
Police were called to the store in the 2100 block of North Temple Avenue at about 5:45 a.m. Friday. They said a store clerk provided a detailed description of the robbery suspect and where he was running toward.
An officer who was familiar with Rosier and suspected him in other recent crimes named Rosier as the suspect in the robbery based on the description given.
Police then responded to possible routes Rosier may have been heading to get to his home. Officers said they spotted Rosier, who tried to cut across the Bradford County Fair Grounds parking lot, where a Bradford County deputy spotted him.
Rosier was arrested a short time later.
