At least five people were hurt in a crash on Interstate 295 northbound between Blanding and Roosevelt boulevards that caused a major traffic backup Friday afternoon, according to Jacksonville Fire-Rescue.
The crash happened about 4 p.m. It's unclear how many cars were involved or how the crash happened.
All of the injuries were said to be non-life-threatening.
Traffic was being rerouted to Blanding until the crash was cleared during rush hour.
