Tall Clubs International is holding its annual meeting at the Hyatt Hotel and the only criteria of membership is your height.

In order join, men have to be over 6 feet 2 inches and woman have to be over 5 feet 10 inches tall. The social group has 55 affiliated clubs across the country and they're trying to get one up and running in Jacksonville.

"The Jacksonville area had a tall club, which lost it's momentum, so we're trying to reignite the individuals and try to get the club going again," said Barry Umbs of Tall Clubs International.

The highlight of the year will be the Tall Club International pageant where they name Miss Tall USA.

Talisha Tolliver is the reigning pageant winner.

"Since elementary school... 'Talisha Tolliver, and your tall. Get it?' I've heard all stuff," Tolliver said.

Susan Daniels is one of those competing for this year's crown.

"I like the fact that because of your physical stature, they expect you to be a leader," Daniels said. "They see you in a crowd, and say, 'I can follow that person.' With that comes the characteristics of leadership."

The group enjoys tours of different cities and taking in the finer things in life, because they say that life is short, even if they are not.
