An 18-year-old man was killed in a drive-by shooting in Northwest Jacksonville on Monday afternoon, according to Jacksonville police.

Police were called to the 1400 block of West 19th Street near Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway just after 3 p.m.

Police said Lavonia Jackson was riding his bike when he was killed. He was found dead in the road.

Investigators said they were looking for a dark car but did not have any other details on the vehicle's description.
