A 44-year-old woman was killed by a train near Collins Road and Matera Avenue early Tuesday morning, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Investigators responded around 2 a.m. to the Ortega Hills scene. They said Jodi Webb was walking along the tracks when she was struck.

Police said their investigation is ongoing.
