JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Jury selection has been completed for a man charged with murder after a woman was struck by a stray bullet and killed while driving her two oldest children to school for an award ceremony.

Taurice Brown, 24, will stand trial in the 2010 shooting death of 41-year-old Analiza Gobaton, a mother of three.

Prosecutors say a dispute between rival drug dealers escalated into gunfire, and Brown fired several shots at another man. That man fired one shot in return as he ran, but he was not charged.Analiza Gobaton

One of those shots hit Gobaton, who was waiting in traffic in her SUV on Blanding Boulevard at 103rd Street. She was shot in the head, causing her vehicle to crash into another. Gobaton died two days later.

Gobaton was driving to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for morning Mass and an award ceremony for her children when she was shot two blocks from the church.

Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.
