A woman accused of killing her two teenagers in January 2011 will go to trial in October of 2013.
A Hillsborough County judge on Thursday set a trial date for Julie Schenecker.
Schenecker's attorneys have previously indicated they would use an insanity defense. She faces two counts of first-degree murder, and prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.
Schenecker is accused of killing Beau, 13, and daughter Calyx, 16, in their New Tampa home.
The trial is scheduled for Oct. 7.
