BAKER COUNTY, Fla. -

A restaurant in Baker County was damaged after a pickup truck drove into the building Thursday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

A Dodge Ram driven by 28-year-old Leland Ireland was traveling south on Lowder Street approaching the intersection of U.S. Highway 90 about 9 a.m., according to the FHP report.

Faye R. Raulerson, 72, was in a Chevrolet car stopped at a red light at the intersection when Ireland failed to stop at the
intersection and struck the left side of Raulerson's car.

After hitting the car, the truck proceeded to travel through the intersection and crossed over U.S. 90 and through a shopping center.

The front of the truck struck the building of Little Caesars Pizza, coming to a stop inside the restaurant.

Ireland suffered minor injuries and Raulerson was not injured.

Ireland is facing a charge of careless driving.
