MORE LOCAL NEWS NOW -- 5 days after a fire ripped through two decks .. the guided missile cruiser USS Hue City is back at Mayport. The ship sailed in early this morning ... so that the Navy can assess the damage from the fire that started in the engine room. It was Monday night .. Hue City was in the Atlantic, 200 miles northeast of Bermuda .. and had been at sea only since LAST Friday. The Navy is still trying to determine what started the fire and the extent of the damage. In the meantime, the 330 or so sailors aboard will get to spend Easter with their families. 3 Another Mayport ship also returned home today ... on schedule.
