Transportation for magnet school students in Jacksonville may be available next school year after it was cut from the budget in 2011.
Superintendent Nikolai Vitti says he's confident his staff can find the money to restore busing for magnet schools and after-school activities.
He says the money will likely come from eliminating duplicative services.
Restoring the magnet bus routes would cost anywhere between $4 million and $5 million.
Restoring transportation for after-school activities could cost about $1 million.
The School Board is scheduled to have a series of budget meetings in February and March.
