Soccer and baseball and powerboats, oh my! This weekend, downtown is the place to be. City officials are estimating that hundreds of thousands of people will come out for the festivities. Some of the most unique events include the powerboat race at Memorial Park, back after a 25 year hiatus. Plus, tomorrow, the U-S soccer team is set to take on Nigeria right at Everbank Arena. TRACK Unfortunately - late today the city announced water taxis will be out of commission this weekend . The city's new boats have to be inspected by the Coast Guard. But with so many people still expected to make it to downtown JSO wants drivers to be aware of some traffic patterns they've laid out.áBefore the soccer game, Bay street will be 2 lanes EB and 2 lanes WB. áAfter the game, Gator Bowl Boulevard at Festival Way will be one-way NB starting at 7:00.áAlso starting at 7, Bay Street and Gator Bowl Boulevard starting at Lot "J" will be one way WB."
