First Wednesday Art Walk Join artist Steve Williams during this month?s Art Walk. He will combine the Art Walk audience, Twitter audience and fellow artists to create a real-time mobile and Internet performance. Free Energy Efficiency Workshop St. Johns County will hold a series of free energy efficiency workshops this month. Thursday?s workshop will be about LEED measurement and verification. You can learn how to verify your savings by measuring the energy that is being consumed after your project is finished. Founding of St. Augustine Celebrate the 446th anniversary of the founding of St. Augustine on Saturday. There will be a historical re-enactment of Admiral Don Pedro Menendez De Aviles landing in 1565, a grand procession to the Mission Nombre de Dios Museum and a lecture about the founding by Dr. Michael Gannon. This event will begin at 10 a.m. at the Mission Nombre de Dios and Shrine of Our Lady La Leche. Additional activities will take place at the Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park following Dr. Gannon?s speech. Admission is free to this event.
Recovery Walk This month is National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month. A Recovery Walk will be held Saturday to celebrate the lives of those who made a commitment to recover.
