A wildfire in the Pin Hook Swamp in Baker County has spread to more than 300 acres and is producing a lot of smoke, but is not threatening anything, Florida Forest Service officials said.

The fire started Wednesday night, probably from a lightning strike, in a very remote area, officials said.

Fire crews were having a lot of difficulty getting to the fire, so officials expect it to grow quite a bit.

Smoke was visible on State Road 2 and Interstate 10, but so far there have been no road closures.
