ST. JOHN'S COUNTY, Fla. -

A 19-year-old St. Johns County mother is in jail after being charged with two felony counts of child neglect. Tori Cramer's one-year-old daughter is in the custody of the state after St. Augustine Police said she left her baby alone for hours inside her apartment.

Police said Cramer left the child alone twice this week. Neighbors said Cramer lives in the apartment with one other person.

When Channel 4 knocked on her door, no one answered Thursday night.

According to the police report, Cramer's roommate is the one who called police after realizing the baby was home alone. The police report said after the roommate discovered Cramer had left her child in their room alone, she changed the baby's diaper which was "full of urine and feces."

On Wednesday, when Cramer's roommate had left for work she thought she heard the baby again and called police. The officer who responded to the apartment said he found the child in a play pen with an empty bottle in her hand. The officer then contacted the Department of Children and Families.

In both situations Cramer went out to visit with her boyfriend. Cramer is being held at the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office on $2,000 bond.
