A victim showing us the physical and emotional wounds she bore ... after a brazen and random attack beside a busy road. 3 Good evening. The woman you heard from did not want to reveal her identity, after she says several men attacked her in a parking lot this week. The assault sent her to the hospital. And now, she's posting her OWN reward for information that leads to an arrest. She says she was going to the veterinarian's office near the intersection of Southside and Beach boulevards to pick up her dogs, when she was beaten. Channel 4's Vic Micolucci spoke to the woman about this CRIME ALERT and joins us now live. Vic, is there a motive here? 3 3 3 No, not that we know of. And that's the odd part. She says they didn't take anything...it wasn't sexual in nature...they just pulled up, yelled, and beat her.And she wants answers. 3 00-10 1:23-1:2949:13 I looked behind me and a car had blocked me in. 49:17 We're protecting her identity and blurring it out, but this woman who goes by JJ has bruises on her face from what she calls a random attack. She says it all happened here at this Southside animal hospital on Wednesday evening...when she was going to pickup her dogs. She says 4 men in a black dodge Charger, similar to this one...pulled up.49:27 Somebody yelled, "hey, what are you doing báááá?" and I kept walking and he started again and I turned around and said I'm here to pick up my dogs. 49:36 49:57 He came up behind me and hit me with something I have no idea what. The police have no idea what. The hospital said they didn't know, but it was with very hard force that threw me to the ground.50:16 Scratches on her arms, a swollen lip and a cut tongue...JJ doesn't have much of a description, but says the man that attacked her was African american with light skin, about 6 feet tall and 185 pounds.51:04 He had his window rolled down and threatened to killed me if I called the police. 51:07 She didn't get a good glimpse of his friends. Now, she's fed up this would happen...and is posting her own reward of a thousand dollars ...for information leading to an arrest.01:06 This is really an odd type of situation because usually when officers respond to things like this there's usually a motive such as robbery they wanting to take the car or sexually assault the person.01:18 Our crime analyst Ken Jefferson says it might have been road rage...or simply a case of mistaken identity. Either way, it needs to be solved.03:25 Likely, this is an isolated incident that happened with this particular person. I don't think that she's being stalked from the information I've been able to read. 03:37 3 So if you have information about So if you have So if you have information about what happened, call crime stoppers or the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. And be sure to let us at channel 4 know about it...so we can get you that 1- thousand-dollar reward that this woman is offering. Vic Micolucci, Ch4, TLS. Vic.... Were there any witnesses? Is the animal hospital staff saying anything about the attack?
