Zimbabwe's finance minister Tendai Biti says there's only $217 left in the government's bank account -- leaving the nation in a state of paralysis.
This is in spite of the fact that Zimbabwe sold almost $685 million in diamonds last year.
Finance minister Biti said the reason is diamond mining companies have not been paying funds to the government.
