JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A driver is in the hospital with serious injuries after a crash on Interstate 10 on Jacksonville's Westside.
Michael Jerome Watkins, 34, was traveling westbound on I-10 near Cassat Avenue when he lost control of his car and struck a concrete barrier wall, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

I-10 was closed from the Luna Street exit to Cassat Avenue. FHP reopened lanes several hours later once the accident was cleared.
