The girl was found safe on the eastside of Orlando at an apartment complex with 31-year-old Tacarion Thomas, Orlando police said.

Police said it was a miscommunication because the mother of the child was not able to reach Thomas on his phone.

Thomas is a friend of the baby's mother.
