Apple may soon offer an incentive that could convince you to trade your Android phone for an iPhone.
According to the blog 9to5Mac, Apple is looking to expand its already existing trade in plan. Right now, you can trade your old smartphone into the Apple store, but it's mainly for recycling purposes, and a very small discount.

If the rumors are true, you would now be able to bring your Android phone in and get serious trade in value towards your new iPhone. Apple started their currently existing trade in program in 2013.
It is believed the idea behind expanding the program would mainly be to entice Android users to make the switch to iPhone.
No official word from Apple on whether there's any substance behind these rumors.
