According to deputies, a 22-year-old Domino's delivery man told police he was looking for the address for a delivery around 11 p.m. Sunday and stopped to ask three men at the corner of Oak Street for directions.

The victim told deputies that the three men pulled a handgun on him, forced him out of his car and took his keys, money and cellphone before forcing him to walk away.

The victim was able to get to another phone and called the Sheriff's Office.

The car was found at the scene of the robbery, deputies said. A K-9 team also found a discarded handgun and shirt nearby.

A follow-up investigation identified Dyess as one of the suspects, deputies said. Rumors spread that Dyess intended to have a shootout with law enforcement, so when he was found at an East Palatka McDonald's, deputies assembled a SWAT team to bring him in. Deputies were able to take Dyess into custody without further incident.

Investigators are still searching for the other two suspects.
