JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. – It's become a seasonal tradition and fans of a local bakery lined up to get the first taste of fall Thursday evening.

Cinotti's Bakery pumpkin-flavored doughnuts are all the rage this time of year. The local bakery closed at 5 p.m. and reopened at 9:30 p.m. to start baking their famous doughnuts.

Cinotti's Bakery is located in Jacksonville Beach on Penman Road, and last year they had a line of more than 40 people, formed outside the family-owned bakery at midnight, as owners kicked off their seasonal run.

"My amazing sister had this wonderful idea last year to open up at midnight for an hour, just to see how it would be. And it turned out to be very successful, so we're continuing it again this year," said Melissa Folett, manager of Cinotti's Bakery.

The bakery said that was the result of word-of-mouth advertising. And this year, with social media in the mix, Cinotti's said they're expecting even more late-night customers because the doughnuts are that good.

"I cannot even tell you, I don't even know what's in it. There is pumpkin in it and a spice blend that is in our family. It's a secret, honestly I couldn't tell you what's in it," Folett said.

Thursday night alone, the bakery has 80 orders to fill and 576 orders for Friday.

The doughnuts are available now until Christmas Eve and Cinotti's has even added an extra fryer to handle this season's demand.

They have been making the mouth-watering doughnuts for 10 years now.

Cinotti's Bakery hours:

Tuesday- Friday: 6 a.m.- 5 p.m.
Saturday: 6 a.m.-3 p.m
They're closed on Sunday and Monday
