ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – A 36-year-old bicyclist is in critical condition after he was struck by a pickup truck Friday afternoon on State Road 207.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Brian Colley was riding south in the bike lane of 207 just south of State Road 312 at 3:40 p.m. when a Ford F-15 driven by Curtis Christensen, 20, changed lanes and began to enter the bike lane and outside right-turn lane.

The left front of the pickup struck Colley's bicycle, causing the bike to go down and knocking Colley onto the pavement. He was transported to UF Shands Jacksonville with critical injuries.
Neither Christensen nor his passenger were injured.
Troopers say Colley was not wearing a helmet.
According to the FHP report, charges are pending.
