Bicyclist hospitalized after collision with Clay Co. cruiser

ORANGE PARK, Fla. – A Clay County deputy struck a bicyclist Monday morning at the intersection of Blanding and Arora boulevards.

The Clay County Sheriff's Office said the bike rider, 75-year-old Ronald Ramsey, sustained minor injuries in the collision about 8:10 a.m. and was transported by ambulance to Orange Park Medical Center for treatment.

The Clay County deputy, 47-year-old Ray Kittles, was uninjured.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
