Blackout Lifted For Jags' MNF Game

2,000 Tickets Needed To Be Sold By Friday Night

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The blackout has been lifted for the Jaguars' nationally televised showdown with the Tennessee Titans on Monday Night Football.

Despite selling out their first three games this season, the team was still about 2,000 tickets away from avoiding the season's first blackout earlier Friday.

The struggle to sell out the game had left many people wanting to know if they would see teal on Channel 4 on Monday night as originally planned.

With all but one game blacked out last season, many fans said the idea of dealing with more on-air missed opportunities would have been disappointing.

"I think it would be a shame. We got the team here, they shouldn't black it out, they should let people watch the game," said football fan Neil Miranda.
