BLACKSHEAR, Ga. – A Blackshear father to two was shot and killed Saturday night outside Pierce County apartment complex.
The Blackshear Police Department said police arrived about 9 p.m. at the Country Manor Apartments found David Wilson, 37, shot. Police said EMS tried to perform CPR before he was transported to the Mayo Clinic in Waycross, where he was pronounced dead around 10 p.m.

Investigators say the shooting occurred in a common area for the apartment complex. Police said they have identified a suspect and that the public was not in any danger.
