JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Kayakers found the body of a 41-year-old man in Goodbys Creek on Tuesday afternoon, but Jacksonville police said there was no sign of foul play.
Homicide investigators were called to the creek at a home in the 8800 block of Sanchez Road in Baymeadows just after 4 p.m.

Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Homicide Sgt. Michael Paul said when officers arrived, they found Eric Dodson face down in the waterway that runs behind the homes in the area.
Paul said JSO contacted FWC and their missing persons unit, but said Tuesday night they didn't have anybody missing that fit Dodson's description.
"At this point, we're treating it as an undetermined death," said Paul. "We can't really see any that we can determine at this time, but when the investigation continues, we may or may not find any."
A fire boat was seen leaving on a trailer from behind the house.
No other information was immediately available.
