The JSO marine unit recovered the body of Charles Maxwell. The Medical Examiner responded and was going to conduct an autopsy.

"There were some signs of trauma. We're not sure if that is due to a boat or something prior to entering the water. And that's what the medical examiner is going to determine for us," said Sgt. Craig Waldrup.

Police said it appears the body had been in the water at least one day.

JSO said it checked missing persons reports and nothing matched up.

Investigators are asking that anyone including any friends or acquaintances that may have recently seen or spoken to the victim is asked to please contact the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at 904-630-0500.
