Police in St. Augustine are asking for the public's help in identifying a man they said called in a bomb threat to a Kangaroo store.
Police said the store at 70 Masters Drive received a call July 7 claiming there was a bomb in the store and everyone should evacuate.
Officers arrived and searched the store and found no evidence of an explosive device.
The officers reviewed surveillance video of the day's activity and believe the caller to be a Hispanic man about 30 years old. He is 5 feet 8 inches tall and 170 pounds, with a mustache and goatee.
He was wearing a gray polo, gray shorts and flip flops. He also had a black wrist watch on his left wrist and black sunglasses pushed up on his head. He was last seen getting into the passenger side of a silver minivan.
Anyone with any information about the man's identity is asked to call Crime Stopper at 888-227-TIPS (8477). Callers may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
