Carjacking scene
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is looking for two men who carjacked two people in the Whitehouse area of the Westside Sunday.

Police say the two people in a car stopped to talk to two pedestrians on the road near near Claremore and Flamingo Avenues. They were approached by two male suspects, who were armed and forced the two out of car.

The two people from the car saw the suspects speed off in that car but didn't see the two they talked to anywhere. Because of this, they were worried the two were possibly kidnapped.

Officers said that's why they were looking into their whereabouts. Everyone is now safe and JSO is seeking the two armed carjacking suspects.

Police added that one of the men may have been wearing a mask.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
